She started working about 5-6 weeks before our big day and called all of our vendors to coordinate so we didn’t have to. When our cupcake baker cancelled the day of the wedding at 7am she called around to find us other options so we wouldn’t stress. She handcrafted my wedding day timeline and even made copies for our MOH/BM. She spoke and ironed out details with our venue so I didn’t have to. “I got married in June 2021 and hired Sam from Willa Weddings to be my day of coordinator, and it was the best decision I could have made. She went above and beyond for not only me, but my bridal party and guests! She helped make my day run so smoothly by reaching out to all my vendors weeks before, coordinating the rehearsal, setting up and tearing down all my decorations, helping us pose the first look, carrying around my long train and flowers from picture to picture, handing out vendor tips, etc! As much as you plan, stuff still goes wrong on your wedding day and Sam dealt with all of this so I could purely enjoy my day. “Before I met Sam, I felt extremely overwhelmed about wedding planning. I felt scattered, like the details to plan were endless and I didn’t know where to focus my planning efforts. I was worried I wouldn’t get everything done in time, even though I had a year and a half to plan. I was also concerned something would go wrong on my wedding day that all the guests would notice. Seeing how calm Sam was throughout planning helped me feel at ease knowing everything was under control. The biggest highlight I remember was during the sparkler exit, everyone started lighting the sparklers before they were supposed to and Sam just went with it. She took something that could’ve been a disaster and made the best of it! There were no glitches on my wedding day. I was most nervous for the ceremony and Sam guided me and my wedding party every step of the way — I was told when to line up for the ceremony, when to relax, what I was doing next and it made the whole wedding ceremony go so smoothly!
I would without a doubt recommend Willa Weddings and Events! It’s important for people to know that of course weddings are expensive in general, but the amount of money is priceless when hiring a wedding planner. It takes away so much stress during planning. The planner tells you what you need to decide and you do it. Willa Weddings and Events is extremely organized. I can’t tell you how much I depended on the guest tracker that Sam provided.. It helped keep everything so organized, and a resource I really depended on. Leading up to the wedding Sam was very responsive, I would text or email her and she could always respond in a timely manner - which I truly appreciated!”
